Our client is looking for an Action Officer to coordinate tasks, assist in functional validations, and collaborate with key stakeholders to manage expectations with ISSMs and the functional community throughout the project(s) lifecycle. This rewarding position challenges candidates to assist the United States Air Force with application hosting in variety of common computing environments, from stand alone to cloud-based applications.
As a trusted agent, the candidate is a communicator and driven critical problem solver. Team members assist in reviewing relevant policies, scheduling activities, and recommending courses of action/tasks to reduce cybersecurity risk while balancing mission requirements within allotted resources. Ability to successfully communicate complicated cybersecurity policies and concepts, both written and orally to a diverse Senior-level audience is key. Candidate will act as the liaison between program managers, functional managers, and AF logistic leaders to analyze, document, assess, and manage competing security and mission requirements.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Understand and work as part of a team implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Provide guidance to system managers and security analysts to resolve security relatedproblems and concerns
- Have a broad knowledge Air Force and DoD of policies, concepts, staff and operating functions, and procedures affecting combat support functions, and automated information systems management at various levels of command.
- Requires strong organizational skills and independent, action-oriented personality; experience leading tasks and tracking actions across multiple organizations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities backed by solid writing and communication skills; must operate constructively and effectively with project end-users, customers, advocates and stakeholders.
- Requires demonstratable power user skills in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint).
- DoD 8570 Information Assurance Manager Level II (CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC)
- Experience with mobile applications system security engineering or development.
Other Skills:
- CISSP, Mobile Certification is a huge plus.
- Air Force information system experience that can reduce learning curve
- Previous DoD experience
- Candidates with recent and relevant U.S. Air Force Logistics, experience are ideal
- Familiar with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
- Experience with eMASS
- Working knowledge of mobile cybersecurity tools.
- SharePoint development or site administration background a plus
- Familiarity with Fortify, ACAS/Nessus, App Detective
