DoD Sales Executive
The Director of Marketing will collaborate closely with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and accelerating revenue growth. This position demands a strategic leader with substantial marketing expertise, specifically targeting the government sector, including the Department of Defense and Federal agencies. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
Formulate and implement robust marketing strategies to amplify brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Design detailed marketing plans closely aligned with the company's strategic vision and market opportunities.
Vendor Management:
Lead the selection and management of marketing agencies, ensuring effective partnership and accountability in coordination with the COO.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to maximize collaborative opportunities.
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with vendors, resellers, and sales channels to enhance brand positioning and market penetration.
Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring:
Perform in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantages.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with sales and product development teams to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business goals and customer requirements.
Coordinate with the COO to manage marketing budgets effectively and strategically.
Goal Setting and Performance Monitoring:
Define clear marketing objectives and KPIs, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting strategies to ensure targets are met.
Foster an environment of accountability and results-driven performance within the marketing team.
Campaign Creation and Execution:
Create and execute dynamic, multi-channel marketing campaigns, encompassing digital, social media, and traditional platforms.
Leverage data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies and enhance performance outcomes.
Activity Tracking and Analytics:
Continuously monitor marketing initiatives, analyzing consumer behavior and employing analytics to inform decisions and optimize strategies.
Identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted solutions to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive the implementation of best practices, fostering continuous improvement throughout the marketing organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful, product-centric marketing strategies.
Extensive experience designing targeted campaigns aimed at the Department of Defense and Federal agencies.
In-depth understanding of government-focused marketing channels, regulatory environments, and industry events.
Exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills to inspire teams.

Proficient in marketing analytics and adept in data-driven decision-making.
