Systems Administrator
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. This role supports critical task order efforts and requires hands-on administration of Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure seamless operational support for live training scenarios and mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including imaging workstations for live training use.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers and services in accordance with operational standards and third-party requirements.
Deploy and support cybersecurity tools including HBSS/AESS ePo, DLP, Policy Auditor, ENS Firewall, and Trellix administration.
Manage incident response related to Microsoft Windows Servers and workstations.
Support and administer services such as DHCP, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and backup monitoring utilities.
Execute Information Assurance (IA) tasks in alignment with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Best Business Practices (BBP) to assist with network accreditation.
Provide tiered helpdesk support using Manage Engine Helpdesk (Tier 1-3).
Perform laptop imaging and customer support including laptop issuance and maintenance.
Administer OCSP Axway Server and manage patching and security hardening efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
DoD IAT Level II Certification and/or current CompTIA Security+ certification required.
Proven experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Proficient with Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, 2019.
Experience with Windows 10/11 (21H2) client OS.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (2013, 2016).
Knowledge of 3rd party application management (Java, Adobe, Chrome, Edge).
Active Directory and DNS administration experience.
Experience with laptop imaging processes and support.
Helpdesk ticketing system experience.
Patch management and STIG security hardening expertise.
This position requires an active Secret security clearance or higher and the ability to work onsite in Orlando, FL.
