Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to help design, build, and optimize automation solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role will support the automation of business processes and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform, enhancing efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across the enterprise.

You’ll partner closely with business users, IT stakeholders, and process owners to uncover automation opportunities, design scalable solutions, and ensure seamless delivery aligned with Microsoft development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with discovery, design, documentation, and testing of automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, and clarify process objectives.

• Document processes, workflows, and configuration details in accordance with Power Platform development standards and best practices.

• Support the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities to validate solution performance and reliability.

• Provide limited support for automation needs in other enterprise tools and systems as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3–5 years of experience developing or supporting automation solutions in Microsoft 365 or similar environments.

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and related tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Experience collaborating with non-technical users to translate business needs into functional automation solutions.

• Familiarity with agile delivery, testing, and deployment methodologies is a plus.
